Join the Baby & Toddler Scavenger Trail at the Alton Walking Festival! 🚶♀️👶🌳
Wild House Play Cafe, in partnership with Alton Town Council, is excited to bring you a fun and FREE scavenger trail every Wednesday in May!
Explore three of Alton's beautiful spaces with your little ones. The trail is buggy-friendly and starts outside Wild House Play Cafe (Cross and Pillory House) at 10am.
Here's how it works:
- Collect your activity map and instructions from us.
- Help your baby or toddler discover specific objects along the route.
- Find hidden letters at each location to spell a magic word.
- Return to Wild House Play Cafe with your findings and the magic word to receive a special certificate!
The cafe will be open for takeaway drinks and food to fuel your adventure. Plus, you can book onto our 11:30am play session afterwards through our website for lunch and playtime (booking recommended due to limited capacity). Participation in the scavenger trail is FREE!
Here are some important pointers to consider when booking onto your walks. Please check the speed of walk before booking :
Slow walks will be at 2 miles per hour or less
Moderate will be 2.5 to 3 miles per hour
Brisk walks will be 3+ miles per hour
