Primary Ballet classes in Farnham

Monday and Wednesdays 4-4:30 at Farnham Maltings

Wednesday 3:45 at Rowlege Village Hall

Classical Ballet training disciplines the body with good posture, develop strength, balance, natural coordination; as well as stimulating the mind. With regular classes, it improves stamina and flexibility; training safer and stronger bodies for dancing. 

All ballet classes have a pianist to accompany them, we feel it is valuable to have live music to dance to as it improves the dancer’s musicality and the appreciation of classical music. A pianist also allows the teacher to give her full attention to the class. 

Our younger budding ballerina classes from 2 – 5yrs are based on imaginative stories, encouraging them to dance through expressive movement, music and singing.          

Adult Ballet classes are also available.

Demeric Dance

Demeric school of Dance runs classes in the Cecchetti method of ISTD Classical Ballet, ISTD Modern, ISTD Tap, Acro and Street Dance.

Classes are run 6 days a week from the Dance Studios in the Farnham Maltings, Farnham Methodist Church, Rowledge village hall and the spire church Hall and St Polycarp’s Catholic School.
